I need about two more days, at the least, to catch up on all my reading, to write a great post, and to feel like I'm back. But I am, and I must go on.
I'm tired! I feel all used up from so much fun. Besides the fact that the trip home took all day, even though only 1.5 hours were in the air.
It is my sweet husband's 65th birthday today, and I wasn't here. Well, he wasn't here either, but fortunately got home just in time to answer the door for the flowers I sent to let him know I hadn't forgotten. Now it is time to figure out how we're going to celebrate - we've both been gone all this week, and most of our friends are gone, too, so we'll wait till things settle down a bit and celebrate in the fashion we should for such an auspicious milestone.
Thanks to my dear friend, Diane, whom I finally got to meet, and who treated me like a queen. I can't wait to show you the goody basket she had for me when I got into her car. She's as great as she seems on her site.
I hope to have time to write tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, I think I'd better hit the sack!

Well, I'm honored to be the first to welcome you back! Glad you had such a good visit with your blogging friend. How sweet is that!
Happy birthday to your husband!
Yeah, everything Myrna said! :-)
I can't wait to read about your vacation and visit with Diane from your perspective. I read her post today about your visit with her.
Hope you have a good rest and need another vacation to recover from your vacation! :-)
Love and hugs,
Diane

Um, I'm red faced now. I meant, DON'T need another vacation, etc. etc. My fingers got ahead of my thoughts. Sigh....
Welcome back! I missed you. Happy birthday to your husband too. Yes, it worked out brilliantly in the end, and she was so sweet. We had a lovely chat. I can't wait to meet her next summer. Maybe you can come over soon too????? Now that you are home and thinking of your next trip?? England is good... if you don't mind rain, that is!
Oh my, you sound as busy as me. Catching up is so hard to do. Take your time! Glad your trip was fun
Thanks for all of your kind comments during the wedding weeks. You have been so kind and thoughtful and of course all of the prayers helped too. Blogging friends are special.
It's nice to have you back Dawn. I just ran over to read Diane's post about your meeting. What fun. I'm so glad you two got to spend some time with each other.
Looking forward to your post and photos, too.
And Kristen is probably over the moon that you're back. She was getting pretty lonely. :-)
Mandy and Aaron are moving into their apartment on Friday. Sigh. I'm thinking you're going to meet my kids real soon.
I'm glad you're home safe and sound (if exhausted). I think it's true we usually need a vacation to rest up from our vacation. Once you're caught up a bit you'll have time to really process everything. It sounds like you and Diane had a terrific time. I'm so glad.
Just take your time and rest a bit. And Happy Birthday to you husband. A wonderful milestone!!
Glad you're back Dawn! Also glad you had a good time!! :0) We'll all be looking forward to all your pictures and stories from your trip.
I left you two awards a couple posts back. If you can't find it just let me know and I will look it up! :0)
