This is a really crazy place we live. There is not a chance (unless God intervenes) of having sunshine at the sunrise service tomorrow morning. It will probably be around 25 degrees or less, with a chance of snow. The sun MAY come out in the afternoon, but forecast high is 42 degrees. There goes the outside egg hunt for the kiddoes!

I took this a few minutes ago.
So sad!!
Care Bear drew this picture of herself and Feisty in their Easter dresses I bought them - I don't know that they'll be able to wear them after all - too sundressy!
Here are the dresses, not ironed yet. No, I didn't make them.
Back in the days when I was very creative and ambitious, this was Kristen's Easter outfit. Her aunt, who had only boys said, when she saw her that day, "Perfect!"
Kevin has written his Part 5, and I will follow suit on Monday. You can find it here on his wife, Sema's site. This has been the most difficult one for me to read so far. I had tears running down my face when I was reading it. It's much like Good Friday leading to Easter Sunday - It's Friday, but Sunday's A-coming', as I quoted in the previous post. It's hard times, but deliverance is coming!

What cute little dresses, Dawn. What a shame if they don't get to wear them. How about some white turtlenecks and tights?
I'm off to read Kevin's fifth installment. I suspected this one would be hard to read, based on the way chapter four left it hanging.
Happy Easter to you, too. Poor flowers. I swear, you can't count on spring in our crazy state until about mid-May. I don't dare plant flowers before then although I'm mighty tempted to risk it this year with a bridal shower here on May 12th and all my sweet white picket fence planters sitting there so empty on my front porch.
It's cold here, too, Dawn. Low in the mid 20's tomorrow, high in the mid 40's. After mid 80's last week!
Hope you have a blessed and joyous Easter, Dawn. :-)
OOPS!! I meant to tell you how much I like your new look, especially your new header! Love those flowers. :-)
those dresses are adorable! hope it works out to wear them, any sweaters around? kevin's part 5 was intense, it was great to be with your kids for dinner we had a good time.
This is Texas. It is not supposed to be freezing in April in Texas, but I promise you there was ice on our windshield when we left for church this afternoon. I am quite put out about the whole thing!
Seriously, this weather is just unbelievable. I'm praying the roads won't be icy so we can make it in for the early service tomorrow morning.
I love the girls' dresses. And Kristen does look perfect.
I've just decided to stop complaining about the weather. Easter is such a special day - it doesn't really matter what the day is like. He is risen; what could be better than that!
Have a blessed Easter Dawn.
Love those sweet dresses! Spring will be to you someday I suppose.
Love your new look! So bright and cheery!
Happy Easter :)
((hugs))
What a perfect picture my Care Bear drew!!
I guess we'll be having an indoor
Easter egg hunt tomorrow.
Hey! I like the new look, too! Where'd you get it? ;-)
I love the dresses (I guess they had to wear sweaters since it is so cold). Kristen looked so cute in her dress when she was little.
I can't wait to read Kevin's post
#5. I'll come back to get your take on things.
Happy Easter!
it is almost 100 degrees here in Venezuela. Happy Easter!
Love the dresses! Boo hoo about the tulips. Did God make snow just so we'd appreciate hot chocolate and sunshine?
Happy Easter my friend. He is RISEN!
I actually cried when I saw your tulips! My crocuses are just STARTING to come up and my peonies are peeking up and there's snow predicted for Thursday.
Sigh.
I made my girlies skirts this year and Grammy bought them pretty blouses; much easier than sewing dresses!
We had crazy cold weather here too! 37 degrees in South Texas for Easter!
