Mostly Wordless Wednesday

SCAN0181

We don't have any pets, but the neighborhood cats seem to love our yard. We have no idea where this one came from, or where he went when he left, but he hung around long enough for me to get a picture of his unusual, beautiful eyes.

Change of plans - more later!

Do you get the symbolism??

Not many cats have two colored eyes, and that makes him special indeed.

I love those eyes. How cool!

And thanks; it turned out to be shingles - not a spider attack! OUCH!

You really take the best photos!

Symbolism...did someone say symbolism???? After spending countless hours in this ***Y$()%&#)( online course.....I can tell you all about literary symbolism....but I have completely missed the symbolism here!

AH--I have so much further to go before.....I really, ever, get it!

What a beautiful cat. Yours are the best kind of pets - the ones who come for a visit and then leave!!! No grooming - no feeding - no litter box - no cat hair everywhere.

That is,indeed, a beautiful cat Dawn. However, that may be the reason you aren't getting birds to come to your feeder :-)
I haven't been doing much blogging lately but I wanted to catch up with you.
The count-down to the end looks so encouraging!

Oh wow, he certainly does have beautiful and unusual eyes. How wonderful that he posed so nicely for you:-) I hope wherever he went that he's being well treated! I'm still feeding that black and white stray kitty...every night he's here for his food and milk/water:-) xox

What a beautiful kitty! I too hope he has a good home somewhere and is loved. Gorgeous eyes!

pretty eyes, must be part Siamese. I do have cats and Siamese have some of the most georgeous eyes. Our tortise (calico) has green eyes.
Love the pictures of the flowers in your yard, spring is blooming.

That cat has pretty eyes and yes, they are unusual. Did you ever notice in the pictures of Meeko that I post that one eye is blue and the other brown? I believe this is a sign of mixed heritage, though I could be wrong.

Love your ticker. I'm sure you are looking forward to your retirement.

Blessings,
Mary

Grandma Dawn,

Thank you for commenting on my blog...I'll have to go back and read the blog on your own driving experience. Colorado really sticks it to ya when it comes to driving errors...hee hee.
Look forward to getting to know.
Ciao for now.

Sorry for the second post...I just noticed your last day of work time line...congrats!!! Mine is right around the same time...only, unfortunately I am too young to retire...my company sold out to TD Ameritrade and TD only hired about 70 people from our company of 1000. Anyway, I'll get some play time at least...going to London. Have you already written about your plans?

And wow...how exciting about your last day of work so near!!!
