Yet another update

So it is Friday - the big girls spent the night in order to keep Katie safe from their colds. Which, by the way, are getting worse every minute. All plans for any fun stuff today are officially cancelled. A trip to the doctor, earlier rather than later I hope, will be our outing for the day. They need to be still and quiet today. Feisty in particular sounds really horrible - which I know from very first hand because she crawled into my bed at midnight, followed quickly by her sister, who was awakened by Feisty's crying in the middle of the night. Both are croaking pretty badly. We can't get them in to the doctor until 4:00 - they want to do RSV test on all 3 of the others - Kristen tells me they will not like this test at all!

The biggest problem this creates is that I need to go to Maizie's funeral at 1:00. The aunt who is taking care of Emma would normally be glad to take Katie, too, so that Kristen can be with the sick big girls. But we want to keep Emma from Katie's remaining germs.

Oh, my. Flexible is indeed the proper word for the year!!

(If any of this makes no sense to you whatsoever, like you came in on the middle of a soap opera episode, please page down and read the last post or two).

Thanks for your often and continual prayers!

Wow. The merry-go-round is in action then. I will most certainly pray for the little ones. All 4 of them, Dawn. And that you have enough strength to keep up with them all too. Am now off to see another specialist. Sigh.

Poor girls! I hope they don't have RSV. I wish they didn't have to be tested. I have no idea what the test is like, but if Kristen thinks they won't like it, than they probably won't. Better to know, though. Good luck!

I am just grateful to have so many people willing to help me to keep my girls healthy. Thanks Mom, and auntie.

Praying for all of your "loved treasures" this morning Dawn. Gosh, when it rains, it pours. I am hoping you were able to get everything done yesterday with flexibility at the wheel. Praying for you too today.

Love and Hugs, Laurie

A soap opera indeed! I am rushing off to read the other posts ASAP.

(Sorry I haven't been around: Sickness, computer repairs, yadda-yadda)

Oh dear -- definitely flexible!!! So sorry to hear the girls are sick. I hope that it is a simple cold and nothing else.

Prayers from me for all of you.

I'm sorry to read about all of your problems, I've been to busy to blog this week. I should have been praying- but.......I will start right now. We were all warned about the seriousness of RSV so I know you are worried. When it rains it pours sometimes but just hang in there knowing you are loved and prayed for and this too shall pass. I hope this week goes better. BLESSINGS!
