"See" ya next week!

Early tomorrow morning, my sis and I are heading for the airport for a girls' week-end away. We're heading to Kansas City to visit a friend. We'll see all four of her grown-up girls and all of their children. It'll be fun times.

So I'm just leaving you with a few pictures from this week. Last Sunday was a beautiful day, so we went back to the park. The babes had a blast on the swings again.

One afternoon I noted Katie sitting on her knees, which is her newest trick - it is so cute.

I noticed that she was in rapt attention to the t.v. - watching "Olivia", the new cartoon based on the book series. I wish I could have had a video camera handy when she began dancing to the theme song - the fact that Olivia is the name of one of her sisters could have something to do with it.

Oh Dawn,

The babies are getting just too cute and growing up so fast. Hannah gets in a trance when she watches cartoons too. And dances. This is such a great age for them to be. More independent and less carrying. I hope your get away is absolutely wonderful and relaxing. Talk to you when you get back.

Love and Hugs, Laurie

Hope you're having a wonderful girls' weekend, Dawn! It sounds like so much fun!
Love the pictures of the little ones...(and Olivia is new favorite at our house, too!)

On another note, please keep us in your prayers...it's not looking good for my husband's job. He had a meeting on Friday and it could be just a matter of days. He's so stressed that he's not sleeping, even though we're trying to put everything into the Lord's hands.
Thanks in advance..

What adorable pictures of those sweet little girlies! Glad you had the camera with you so we could enjoy seeing them too.

I'm anxious to hear about your girls weekend. Bet you had a blast! We head out on Thursday and I am still trying to get my kitchen cleaned out and haven't packed a thing. Sigh.....not enough hours in the day!

She looks adorable sitting on her knees like that. Honestly, the twins and Avery are so much alike, at pretty much the same stages. Avery sits like that too, even has the same bottle that I saw in the photos, and reacts to her favorite shows now too. I love this age, don't you? Even their hair looks the same. LOL
