I have about 40 more files to figure gpa's, then I'll be finished for this round of applicants. I can't wait!! I have brought them home so many nights that I'll be able to take a lot of my vacation in April on comp time.
The spring-like days we had last week when a long ways toward clearing the streets and sidewalks of ice and snow. We are thankful. A couple of weeks ago, I was parking at work and a huge ball of ice got stuck under my car and was dragged a ways before it loosened. Here is the result on my bumper - whoever dreamed up plastic car parts anyway??
Kristen's house has northern exposure on the front yard. The other day Anakin said, "I was beginning to think I'd never see grass again!" It'll be awhile before they do see any in their front yard:
Here is the yard just across the street from them:
The good news is that spring is on the way! I found evidence in my front yard this morning:
Have a wonderful new week - the last week of February already!

You must both be so relieved to get a good report from the biopsy!
Your bumper looks a little the worse for wear from that ice...
Can you believe we go on daylight savings time in two weeks? I think it will feel even more like spring then!
((hugs))
Dawn it is a shame about your car, yes I too wonder not only who but why they decided plastic cars are best (best for who?)
The photos of the snow in the front garden I think looks lovely but I understand the reason why it would be time for spring for you all it has been a harsh winter for you up there.
enjoy your evening or is it morning as Monday leaves us a beautiful sun filled day.

Hurray for good medical reports!
We're still buried in central Maine. I'm hoping we'll have one or two more storms before spring sets in. The one on Valentine's Day was our first "real" storm in two years.
We have a southern exposure and even so I sometimes don't see all my front yard til mid-April!
Oh Dawn, that is music to our ears! It just brings joy to our hearts to hear that DC is cancer free. Praise God!
It's funny the grass is always greener on the other side was my first thought when you showed the pics of the two yards.
It has been a long hard Winter for you all. Thank goodness, Spring will be here before you know it! :)
Yay for cancer-free and melting snow!
oh awesome news about DC! just awesome!
I am looking forward to spring here too, we are still burried under at least a foot of snow!
That is great news Dawn. Thank You Lord.
Sorry about the bumper. The thing I can't understand is why a piece of plastic should cost so much money.
Spring really is in the air. We have little wild flowers popping up all over the lawn.
I hope you finish those things up soon. What a lot of work.
Hmmmm I think the neighbours across the street dumped all their snow on Kristen front yard while she wasn't looking! lol
What great news that no cancer showed up in the biopsy!!! Amen!
Gosh, what a shame about your bumper....and you know what's maddening? That little piece of plastic will cost so much to repair! Ugh! xox
great news for DC. I'm sure it was scary for you.
Sorry about the bumper! Geesh--who thought it was a good idea to use hard plastic for a BUMPer!
Such great news though about your hubby! I hate the wait of those medical scares. Glad your wait is over and the report was good!
I can't believe it is the last week of February already--suppose I should stop blog visiting and take the rest of my Christmas decorations down!!!!!

Our front yard in Frederick was on the north, too, and once snow fell, we didn't see grass again for the rest of the winter. It involved a lot of work to keep the driveway clear.
Good news about hubby. It's always good news when something like that turns out to be OK. And he's a very smart man to stay on top of it.
I find it funny when every day I come home from work and Anakin is out there in our front yard with the shovel desperately trying to shovel the snow out of our yard. Poor kid. He just wants grass again. As do I!
Glad to hear the praise report! It is 70 degrees and sunny in NC today and I am loving it. Spring can't be far behind. ENJOY!
