Update

Another quick update - Kristen's trip to Denver went well on Friday. The specialist feels certain they can hold off on bringing the babies into this world for another two weeks. They have been tested for everything possible, and have passed their tests with flying colors. She is being forced to rest by virtue of being in the hospital. She's bored and missing the kids, but I am happy she's there. Just on the off chance that it might be remotely possible, I asked the "concierge" at the hospital (did you ever hear of such a position?) if there were such a thing as a loaner laptop while Kristen was "incarcerated." Lo and behold, she got right on it, and had one in Kristen's room already today. So hopefully she'll be able to post her own take on the situation soon. (I just checked - and she did - so hop over there and read her take on the subject.)

More to come on Hawaii - I'm having a hard time locating some of my pictures. But I have many more things to share.

There's a lot of warmth and goodness in the world too! Life is still an amazing wonderful gift from God- despite all the trouble that can come. God has great plans for those two sweet babies.

I just came here from Kristen's blog. I left her a (hopefully!) encouraging comment.

Happy New Year, Dawn! ;o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

I haven't been to Kristen's blog yet, but I'm so glad she has access to a laptop. That has to be better than daytime TV any day of the week!

I know you're still up cuz you just commented on my blog. I just tried calling you. Anything interesting going on around there? I haven't heard anything more. Call me if you get this, please.

Good Evening Dawn,
I am so glad that Kristen got a laptop for her room. It's also good that the doctors feel they can hold off on bringing the Babies into the world for at least a couple of more weeks. I visited Kristen earlier and saw where you had posted for her. I left a comment but I will go back and visit her again. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.
P.S. As much as I'm wanting to hear more about Hawaii, you just tend to your Family first.

I am behind here! Kristen must be going out of her mind in the hospital. I'll stop by her blog after this and see how she's doing. Good work finding her a laptop!

It's so funny you should mention asking about a laptop for her because after I'd read your last post of how bored she was, my first thought was too bad she didn't have a laptop! lol Greatttt that the hospital could lend her one:-)

New Year is a time for celebration of love, of life, of friendship. It's the time to thank God for wonderful friends, and to bring to their lives as much magic as they bring to ours...so here's celebrating our friendship and praying that its magic continues forever. Happy New Year to you and yours dear Dawn! xoxo

I'm doing a little caatching up tonight--as I listen to firewroks in the neighborhood! Happy New Year!

I have been reading your posts and went over to read Kristen's side of the story. Bless her sweet heart! What a difficult time for her. I will be praying for the babies, her, and all of you. Hope those babies can stay put for a while longer!

Happy New Year Dawn! So good that Kristen got the laptop!!! That will help pass many boring hours for her while she is on bedrest! Hopefully this will keep those dear babies where they are supposed to be for a while longer!!

When I scan old pictures, or any small ones for that matter, I 'preview' the picture and then can pull the lines up around just the picture and then when you scan it you get just the picture and not the whole sheet with the picture in the corner. Was that clear as mud????? I scanned a few without doing that and I got the picture just in the corner and it was really small. Hope this helped.

I'm glad she is doing so well. I pray that she finds rest and healing. How great to have a loaner laptop in order to distract her.
