Not So Wordless Wednesday

Autumn leaves, Winter Boots, Summer Clothes!!

images[1]

Even if baseball bores you to pieces, you take a book to the game because you want something fun to do, you feel claustrophobic in the stadium because the seats are so close together, and you will probably never go to another game, you can't help getting excited when your local team sweeps the play-offs and heads to the World Series for the first time in its young history! GO COLORADO ROCKIES!!

I love the picture Dawn. They really do have their own little fashion sense at that age :-)
We're rooting for the Rockies this year. No Texas team even came close. So while I don't have a clue about the Rockies, I have to have someone to cheer for because Steve will be watching no matter who is playing. We both decided we'd be from Colorado this time around.

I'm much more interested in the picture than the baseball events, but Go Rockies! I guess. ;o)

Hugs,

Diane

The picture is lovely. She seems so determined to get all of those leaves raked.

Dawn,
We really enjoyed Evensong at Yorkminster, too. The only reason we found this part of a shop was because there was a downpour and we had to seek shelter in the store. After walking all over the store we ended up in this little low ceilinged area. Blessings...

Do you know Karen?

The two of you have something in common. Although I do not think she'd be reading.

Congrats to your Rockies! We'll be rooting for y'all when the party starts.

And ... that is the cutest leaf-raking outfit I have ever seen, described perfectly by the way. Very fun.

Too funny! It's hard to know what to wear the way the weather's been bouncing around from hot to cold anyway... She's cute in whatever she's wearing! :)

It's nice to meet a fellow Rockies fan -- you're right, we're all in this together when the local team does so well. It's fun isn't it?

Those of us in Colorado know that the outfit is not all that unusual for our very unpredictable weather. She's a cutie!

Raking leaves, fun stuff, especially if you get to jump in the pile!

Sniff, my Diamondbacks are out. But best wishes for your Rockies.

That could be my daughter. Although we aren't blessed with the gorgeous fall leaves.

What a cute photo. Three seasons covered. Now if she'd just had an umbrella, why, she'd have all four covered.

Isn't it exciting? I never watch baseball but when Rob told me how well the Rockies were doing, I suddenly found myself interested. I didn't even know who all our players were these days but now, I'm glued to the TV when they're playing.

Now, if we could just get the Broncos to wake up!

By the way, I feel so much better this morning. Krissy does too. So eastern slope, here we come!

I can imagine it is similar to how we felt last year when Boise State went to the Fiesta Bowl and beat Oklahoma - it was fun. To this day you can walk into any Walmart and they have the Fiesta Bowl game playing on their tv's in the electronic section! And there is always a huddle of people watching!

Adorable photo! Love the contrast.

My brother, sister-in-law and two nieces live in Broomfeld. Go Rockies!!!!

She's doing a grand job with those leaves. Good little worker. Someone on these comments mentioned York Minster. Would that be the one in England?

By the way, there's a treat on my blog for you and anyone else who wants one. Enjoy! :-)

There's just something about a girl and her boots! She is adorable! I dread for our leaves to start falling....I don't mind mowing the grass, but I don't like raking!! :)
